How to pay for the federal loan that was granted to help pay for unemployment benefits. The interest alone has been a concern.
The reopening of Kentucky Kingdom.
Whether to make pseudoephedrine a presciption drug.
My pre-filed bills concerning GAMING/GAMBLING ie: CASINOS are:
BR 189 which is a constitutional amendment which would allow the expansion of gaming/gambling. This will require a state wide vote.
BR 246 is how to implement BR 189.





SUMMARY OF BR 189 & BR 246
Calls for a vote of the people of Kentucky as to whether or not to allow expanded gaming/gambling ie: casinos in Kentucky.
Lets counties vote on whether or not to have casinos in their county.
Gives horse racing tracks in counties that approve casinos an option for a limited license.
Opens bidding for casinos to all, including tracks.
Gives counties with casinos an $1 admission fee from casinos.
Gives counties a say as to the restrictions and minimum acceptable facilities.
Gives counties input as to which bid is accepted.
Sets up a program for compulsive gamblers.
GIVES OPPONENTS OF GAMING/GAMBLING ie: CASINOS AN OPPORTUNITY TO VOTE ON THE ISSUE..

THE BUDGET and REDISTRITING will be the two prominate issues.
GAMING/GAMBLING ie: CASINOS should be addressed.
